Operated by Site Skills Training, the newly established Darwin Training facility is located in the inner-industrial Darwin suburb of East Arm, 15 minutes from the Darwin International airport.
Darwin Training Facility Type
The training facility has been set up to deliver a range of Industrial and Construction Skills for National High Risk Licensing.
The facility is equipped with three modern classrooms of varying size to accommodate small groups 6 and 8 and larger groups 15 – 20. There is a large undercover/warehouse area for forklift training and an outside practical training area to simulate a construction environment.
The site is spaced over an 8,000m2 lot, fitted out perfectly to suit the needs of the heavy machinery and High Risk Licencing equipment.
There are standalone sheds for the overhead cranes, both inside and outside workshop spaces and 15 classrooms for the theory and assessment, all prepared for up to date high quality training for the students. The campus is fitted for disabled and wheelchair access.
